Malaria vaccine reduces child deaths by 13% in Africa, WHO study reports

A pioneering malaria vaccine led to significant reductions in child mortality in Ghana, Kenya, and Malawi, a World Health Organisation study has reported.1Over four years an estimated one in eight deaths of children (13%) were averted among those eligible to receive the vaccine when compared with ch
