Israel: Haredi protests escalate with storming of military police chief’s home

Haredi protesters stormed the home of the head of Israel’s Military Police in the south of the country on Tuesday evening, in protest against the arrest of draft evaders, in what a Hebrew newspaper described as a “dangerous escalation”. The incident came as part of demonstrations organised by Haredi
