I Built an AI Memory System. Then I Forgot About It.

The memory system I built for Claude has been running since February. Every prior phase — from the first CLAUDE.md file to the nightly sync pipeline to the knowledge graph — followed the same pattern: use the system, hit friction, build the next layer. I expected that cycle to keep going. I expected
