India state polls deepen Hindu-Muslim political divide, results show
NEW DELHI, May 7 - India's main opposition Congress party drew increasingly strong backing from Muslim voters while Hindus overwhelmingly voted for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s party, results from recent elections in four states have shown.
