Backend AI Needs an Action Surface, Not Just a Chat Box

Most AI developer tooling still assumes the main interface should be a chat box. That makes sense for open-ended questions. It makes less sense for day-to-day backend work. Backend workflows usually do not begin with a blank prompt. They begin with a broken startup command, a noisy terminal, a healt
