I'll never be able to write the kind of wish-fulfillment fantasy that readers can insert themselves into - it's just not my jam, story-wise. If anything, I prefer writing ones where the wish-fulfillment just makes everything worse in a snowballing chaos spiral. It's not for everyone, I admit.
