Microsoft has an ambitious plan to win users back, and go toe-to-toe with Valve's SteamOS for gaming — but I'm not getting my hopes up

Microsoft is currently in an ongoing battle to improve Windows 11 for idle use and gaming to compete with SteamOS, and it has a big plan for it.
