Hong Kong extends tax waiver for residents displaced by deadly Tai Po fire

Residents displaced by the deadly Tai Po fire will have their taxes waived for an additional year, the Hong Kong government has announced. In a statement on Monday, the government said homeowners and residents of Wang Fuk Court would be exempted from the final tax payable for the 2025-26 assessment
