Ex-Florida GOP lawmaker convicted of secretly lobbying for Venezuela
A Miami federal jury on Friday convicted former Florida Rep. David Rivera (R) with conspiracy and other crimes tied to a multi-million lobbying campaign on behalf of the Venezuelan government. Rivera and his consultant Esther Nuhfer were found guilty of breaking the Foreign Agents Registration Act
